Workshops on Mass Customization for the Wood Products Industry

Sustainable Forest Futures (SFF), a subsidiary of the Northern Forest Center, has announced a series of workshops in April and May on "Mass Customization for the Wood Products Industry".

"Mass customization" is the utilization of advances in manufacturing and information technologies to produce products that the customer perceives as customized to their particular needs, but that the manufacturer can produce with low cost and short lead times.

These workshops are geared to leaders of small- and medium-sized wood products companies.

Registration information for these upcoming workshops in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York, may be found here.

For further information or questions, contact Colin Miller at SFF via email or at 603-229-0679x10.
