To all Active Members of the New England Chapter of AWI:

Nominations for N.E. Chapter Board of Directors

Annual Meeting and Change of Officers to take place in September

The affairs of the New England Chapter, Architectural Woodwork Institute are administered by a Board of Directors. These members serve without compensation for a term of three years. It is their dedication which contributes to the success and prominence of the New England Chapter of The A.W.I.

As the first step of a 2 part process, please take a moment to nominate yourself or a fellow member from the attached list to serve on the New England Chapter Board of Directors. Each member will later be asked to vote for the directors from the slate of candidates having accepted their nomination.

In accordance with the by-laws, Article VI, Section 2, the nominating committee, “shall submit one (1) or more nominees for each directorship to the annual membership meeting” of the Board of Directors.

It is every member’s responsibility to participate in the nomination process as the established Board of Directors will serve all members.

Nominations will close on Thursday, July 24, 2008.

Nominees will be announced during dinner at our annual Golf/Fishing outing on Monday, July 28, 2008. Please complete and return the Nomination Form (via fax, to 617-444-8405) as soon as possible before that date.
