Making the most of the new NEAWI website

To all NEAWI Members:

With the rollout last month of the new NEAWI website, we are encouraging all members to update their profiles with more current information.

To do this, simply click on the "Update Profile" link on your profile page, and fill out the form then displayed. That will be sent to the Webmaster, who will then update your profile, and let you know when the updates are "live".

Also, Active members may submit photos for display on the gallery on their profile page, as well as on the full site gallery, with rotation through the site home page. To submit photos (jpeg format, please), send them to webmaster@neawi.org

More importantly, there are two new bulletin boards/blogs on the site, which some or all of you need to sign-up for:

The Chapter News blog link on the new site, for all public chapter news, for members and for the world at large. It is authored by the NEAWI President, officers and board of directors. They have received email invitations to sign up, to be authors of this blog. Please respond to the invitation, or, if you have not received it or have misplaced it, please send a request to the webmaster@neawi.org to reissue the invitation.

The Member's Bulletin Board button/link is a private bulletin board, restricted and only visible to NEAWI members. Any NEAWI member can post to or read this bulletin board, but you must accept the invitation to sign up to be an author of this bulletin board. All members with valid email addresses have received invitations to sign up; if you have not received it, or have misplaced it please send a request to the webmaster@neawi.org to reissue the invitation.

Please note that on both of these bulletin boards/blogs, you do not have to have a Google/Blogger account; you can use your personal or corporate email address (the address which received the invitation).

If you follow these steps, we can all help make the new NEAWI site a success, and a useful tool for both all members and the public at large.

Thank you,
Charles McElwain
